Summary
An educational mystery game where the player takes on the role of a Witch Apprentice named Lia. After an attack of magical viruses, she must venture into different parts of the expansive library to solve what happened and bring peace back to The Library.
During the game, the player will learn facts and helpful tips about cyber security. This learning experience is intertwined with both the gameplay and narrative.

Level 1: The Main Hall
This level teaches the player the main mechanics of the game. You must cleanse viruses with your magical staff, and speak to NPCs.
Through gaining clues and exploring, this level's narrative teaches the player about Trojan viruses.




Level 2: The Greenhouse
This level teaches the player about dangerous links through the use of doors with misspelled destinations, making them discern which is correct. We also utilize push puzzles to vary gameplay.
I did not design this level myself, the assistant level designer on the team did the bulk of work on this. I assisted with feedback, metrics and decoration.




Level 3: The Archives
This level teaches the player about the dangers of re-using passwords. This is shown through password input mechanics that are all the same password. This shows that the virus was able to sneak in easily.
I designed this level to feature all gameplay mechanics in a final challenge of mechanics and wits.
